For patients with a variety of more serious long-term, chronic illnesses, such as Alzheimer’s, forms of cancer, cardiac disease, kidney failure, Parkinson’s, and other conditions, we provide the necessary support needed to provide adequate care.

At Long Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, our dementia is designed to meet our resident’s needs in a supportive and secure environment. Our Dementia Care Unit specializes in programs to treat the unique needs of individuals with Dementia or other related memory impairments through gentle and skilled care.

Our facility can administer therapy intravenously, preventing air from diluting medication as it enters the bloodstream. I.V. Therapy is the fastest way to deliver essential pharmaceuticals to the body, and it is used for certain patients as deemed appropriate by our medical team.

For patients who are recovering from a heart attack, stroke, or dealing with heart disease, high cholesterol or blood pressure or any other cardiac-related conditions, we offer exercise therapy and patient education to prevent future cardiac issues and further illness.

Pain management is a necessary part of any treatment plan. Pain affects quality of life, so it is essential to handle pain wisely and adequately. Patients may require pharmaceuticals, massage therapy, mental health services, or other forms of pain management.

Nutrition management is not always a component of recovery that patients and their families consider. Health comes from within, and it is important to nourish your body properly.

Wounds are typically cared for with proper dressing and medication to mitigate the risk of infection. An untreated or improperly treated wound can have trouble healing or slowly heal and even lead to more serious conditions.
